Campaign Module 12th January

Today is the launch day for the campaign. This means that all of our campaign ideas would be generated to the public.

We firstly allocated the jobs for the campaign throughout the weeks we will be advertising it...

- Ticket Designer; tickets will need to be drafted and then made so they go with the theme of the comedy festival

- Ticket Sales; someone will need to monitor the advertising so that there are large ticket sales and they will then need to set up somewhere where they will be sold and the price of them.

- coach hire for brookfield - someone will need to organize the coach from brookfield to brune park for the comedy festival. The people that will use this transport are the audience.

- assembly delivery brookfield - people will need to go into the school assemblies in brookfield and make people aware of the comedy festival. Telling them where it is, when it will take place, how much the tickets will be, why this is being done and if anyone would like to audition. In addition to this we will need to make the assemblies funny and amusing.

- audition manager - this is where someone will set up the auditions, the venue and how it will be designed. In addition to this they will also oversea the auditions and make the final cut of people we will be suing for our comedy festival.

- poster design and display - this will be to advertise the festival. This is a vital role because it is making people aware and interested in the festival. The posters will be funny and informative.

- comedy event organiser - in brookfield school we will have events to also raise money and also advertise the comedy festival. Some ideas that were produced for this were non school uniform days, wear red days, pie the teacher and many more.

- comedy promoter; this job will entail someone promoting the acts that we will be using for the festival.

The jobs that I have done are my Gurilla idea and the school newspaper. School newspaper article - for this I wrote a draft article advertising the comedy festival, informing people on what the festival is for and about, stating the dates and times and advertising the auditions. In addition to this to make the article more interesting I added funny pictures and picture sketches. Business cards - For this I designed business cards that would make people think about what they are. I put the date of the comedy festival and put a slogan; will you be there? Making these business cards was part of my gurilla campaign to make people aware of the comedy festival, however not revealing too much information about it so they will be interested.

Today I think that I have shown strengths in being able to state all the jobs in the campaign module and pick the ones that I think I can do well and make a good contribution to the campaign. The next thing that I will need to do is make a timeline for the jobs and key dates. This will be so that I can work to a time schedule and complete things within the time frame.

The next thing that I did was put up more posters around the school with different designs on so people would see the same logo but a different funny poster.

The next thing I did was plan to go into tutor groups to generate more publicity. I would need to get permission from the heads of houses and then ask the tutors if it would be possible to give their tutor a quick message. I then planned what I would be saying
The things I will need to include when talking to the tutor groups are;
- What LOL is
- What types of things will be happening
- When they are happening
- Things they can do to get involved

I then plan to do this announcement next week.

Strengths:
I have worked well to generate publicity to the public and planned to go into tutors which will then make all the students aware and get them talking - this will then contribute to the 'Word of Mouth' campaign idea which I planned.
