Today we had Anthony Batchlelor from city eye - a film company. He helped us by giving a brief talk about how to plan for a video and the stages we will go through to then be ready to start filming footage for the video. At the beginning of this module, I did not know what I would be doing for my video, however now I have 5 ideas which are possible. This gave me a better idea into what my video could be like and how I will be doing them.

I chose to use the idea of "what it's like to be a girl" - a film about the different stages of a young girls life and the things two different girls go through in the different parts on the social hierarchy . My message was not yet clear at this point and was something I still needed to work on however it will basically be showing how people shouldn't judge someone if they don't know what they are going through.
Today I worked well because I selected ideas which could all potentially be good videos, but I think I should have been more confident with putting ideas forward and had a better idea of which was my favourite before asking for imput. I would like to improve my skills to evaluate my own idea, as I strongly rely on the oppinions of others and find it hard to know if what I think is the best idea. I managed my time well because I only had just over an hour to come up with all four ideas - which I did without any problems.
