Campaign Module 2nd March

Today is the day of the auditions, for this I will need to make sure everything is ready, everyone is aware they are taking place.

The fist thing I did was draft a letter to the parents of the students that will be involved in the comedy show. After the auditions, the acts that we ask to perform at the festival will be given a letter explaining to their parents
- what the comedy festival is
- when it is taking place
- safety aspects
- a permission slip

After doing this, as act liaison (I will be working to improve the acts) I need to have a meeting with Amy who is also doing my job. We will be discussing what we will be looking for, the types of things we want in the comedy festival.

The next thing we did today was go out during break time and lunchtime to tell more people that the audition were tonight.

I put another notice in PD reminding them also.

Strengths:
Today I think that I have worked well to prepare for the auditions.

Campaign Module 16th February

Today, I will be making more people aware of the LOL COMEDY FESTIVAL auditions and getting lots of people involved.

We generated more poster stating
where the audition were
when they were being held
Things that we want to see

Another thing I did was create notices for the tutors, I put the most relevant information into the memo and mass printed them and put into the tutor notice holes.

Strengths:
Today I have worked well to make sure everyone is aware of the auditions
I have used different methods to make people aware

Campaign Module 26th January - 9th February

I am carrying on advertising the campaign doing various things.

The first thing we did was put a notice on the school's Frog making a notice and making it more publicised.

Other things that we did during these weeks was create more posters with events to get people excited about the LOL campaign and get everyone from my target audience involved.

Strengths:
I have used different sources to advertise the campaign.

Campaign Module 19th January

Today I am going to be continuing publicising the campaign.

Firstly, I will be going into tutor groups and discussing what LOL is and making them aware so it generates more publicity and more people are ware of what will be happening.

Another thing I will also be doing is making sure that the Facebook group is kept up to date with new information and news feeds.

I will also be going to individuals and getting them involved and talking to people making sure they know what the LOL campaign is.

I have sown strengths in being able to individually talk to a tutor group and get more people aware of the campaign. In addition to this, I have talked to many people and made them aware.

Campaign Module 12th January

Today is the launch day for the campaign. This means that all of our campaign ideas would be generated to the public.

We firstly allocated the jobs for the campaign throughout the weeks we will be advertising it...

- Ticket Designer; tickets will need to be drafted and then made so they go with the theme of the comedy festival

- Ticket Sales; someone will need to monitor the advertising so that there are large ticket sales and they will then need to set up somewhere where they will be sold and the price of them.

- coach hire for brookfield - someone will need to organize the coach from brookfield to brune park for the comedy festival. The people that will use this transport are the audience.

- assembly delivery brookfield - people will need to go into the school assemblies in brookfield and make people aware of the comedy festival. Telling them where it is, when it will take place, how much the tickets will be, why this is being done and if anyone would like to audition. In addition to this we will need to make the assemblies funny and amusing.

- audition manager - this is where someone will set up the auditions, the venue and how it will be designed. In addition to this they will also oversea the auditions and make the final cut of people we will be suing for our comedy festival.

- poster design and display - this will be to advertise the festival. This is a vital role because it is making people aware and interested in the festival. The posters will be funny and informative.

- comedy event organiser - in brookfield school we will have events to also raise money and also advertise the comedy festival. Some ideas that were produced for this were non school uniform days, wear red days, pie the teacher and many more.

- comedy promoter; this job will entail someone promoting the acts that we will be using for the festival.

The jobs that I have done are my Gurilla idea and the school newspaper. School newspaper article - for this I wrote a draft article advertising the comedy festival, informing people on what the festival is for and about, stating the dates and times and advertising the auditions. In addition to this to make the article more interesting I added funny pictures and picture sketches. Business cards - For this I designed business cards that would make people think about what they are. I put the date of the comedy festival and put a slogan; will you be there? Making these business cards was part of my gurilla campaign to make people aware of the comedy festival, however not revealing too much information about it so they will be interested.

Today I think that I have shown strengths in being able to state all the jobs in the campaign module and pick the ones that I think I can do well and make a good contribution to the campaign. The next thing that I will need to do is make a timeline for the jobs and key dates. This will be so that I can work to a time schedule and complete things within the time frame.

The next thing that I did was put up more posters around the school with different designs on so people would see the same logo but a different funny poster.

The next thing I did was plan to go into tutor groups to generate more publicity. I would need to get permission from the heads of houses and then ask the tutors if it would be possible to give their tutor a quick message. I then planned what I would be saying
The things I will need to include when talking to the tutor groups are;
- What LOL is
- What types of things will be happening
- When they are happening
- Things they can do to get involved

I then plan to do this announcement next week.

Strengths:
I have worked well to generate publicity to the public and planned to go into tutors which will then make all the students aware and get them talking - this will then contribute to the 'Word of Mouth' campaign idea which I planned.

Campaign Modules 5th January

Today I am going to be finishing my final campaign ideas and generating them to my target audience.

Firstly, I edited my poster to include the dates of the audition for the comedy festival and then got them printed so they could be put up around school. The next thing I had to do was talk to head of site team and ask if we were allowed to put the posters up around school and the places that were restricted. The areas that we were not allowed to put them were doors (would be easily knocked down) and fire exit doors (these had to be kept clear).

Another thing that I did was send my newspaper article which was completed last week to the newspaper so it could be printed.

Strengths:
Today I have considered the safety aspects on where the most suitable areas to put posters up
I have worked well individually to generate my ideas to the target audience and get them printed.
